3 Ways To Wear Your Fave Knitwear This Autumn

Knitwear season is just THE best. You can’t go into a high street store or pop onto an online shop without being inundated with countless knits in all different patterns and colours. First of all, give me all the mustard ones, and second of all, they’re a wardrobe staple for cooler days and I love layering them with summery items.

I thought I’d do a 3 ways to wear post with some new knitwear from Femme Luxe Finery, and I’m keeping it casual with my looks, but adding accessories to jazz up the outfits a little. Enjoy!

Did anyone else buy countless summer skirts? Midi’s were all the rage this year so lets not waste them! My fave new Bershka snakeskin skirt is a HIT every time I wear it to the office, and adding a cropped black jumper creates an ideal outfit. I’ve added burgundy boots for some colour but kept accessories black and neutral with a black Boohoo bag and some tortoiseshell earrings from New Look.

Cropped jumpers are often a bit of a pain to style if you aren’t keen on your tummy showing, but matching with high waisted trousers/skirts or with dresses is a good option!

This is the third mustard jumper to enter my wardrobe this season – I just can’t get enough! It’s one of those tones that is perfect for autumn and always warms up your skin tone once your tan starts to fade. This off-the-shoulder beaut from Femme Luxe is ideal with a pair of skinny jeans and I’ve added some Gucci-style flats and an orange bag to keep on the warm theme.

This is one of those easy weekend looks, but I have glammed it up a notch with some drop earrings I found in Debenhams – aren’t they lush?!

If you really want to get layering on cooler days then get the tights back out of your knicker drawer, throw them on under a skirt and pop your knit over the top. A black skirt is a definite wardrobe necessity and this cord one is my new favourite from Miss Selfridge (I featured it in this outfit post recently!). It looks great with cropped jumpers and this white/grey striped knit is lush with the monochrome vibe. I even popped my favourite new Debenhams trench over the top for more layering goodness.

I’ve pulled out a pastel bag to lighten the outfit (now is a great time to find these in the sales!) and my boots are from winter 2017/spring 2018 and are making their first re-appearance of the new season – I had to get them re-heeled and now they’re like new shoes!

P.s. earrings are New Look!

Which outfit is your fave?! Let me know in the comments whether it’s 1, 2 or 3! You can’t beat the cosiness of knitwear, can you? Pop over to Femme Luxe Finery for some lush choices!
