How is it November? Where has this year actually gone? I swear 5 minutes ago we were talking about linen shirts and the heatwave! Anyway, I’ve recently been sharing over on my Instagram a chic but timeless outfit in collaboration with Karen Millen. Hitting so many trends for autumn, the pieces are perfect wardrobe staples and I’m so happy with them! Karen Millen do the best basics in my opinion as well as key items like coats and knitwear that you can wear year after year.
I thought I’d share the look here on my blog and take you through some of my favourite trends of the season, and some other places you can be buying them on the high street too.
How dreamy is this coat? It’s such a versatile piece that will go with everything in my wardrobe, and amazing quality too. You’ll find wool coats like this all over the high street this A/W.
How about the zip-up jumper too? I’ve seen so many of these zip-up knits and I’m in love with them! I think they look kinda smart in some weird way too – ideal for work with some black trousers. This white one from Karen Millen had been on my wishlist for a while!
Zoom in to the shoes too! I love a kitten heel. I’m not a massive heel girl, I just can’t walk in them and being tall doesn’t help. These are such a great everyday heel and the buckle detail makes them look so expensive. There are so many great kitten heels on the high street currently and I’ll dig out some fab ones for you if you’re on the lookout.
Finally… hats! Hats are major at the moment! Whether you’re after a fedora or the Emily in Paris style beret, be sure to have a hat in your wardrobe to cover up your bad hair day. I love this one from Karen Millen with the chain detail (because chains are all the rage too this year – two trends in one guys!).
